Personal Training & Coaching

Coaching Built Around You

Most people don't stop training because they're lazy. They stop because the program didn't fit the week they actually had. At Personal Touch Fitness, we start with a conversation rather than a program, so a first session with a personal trainer covers your schedule, your training history, any injuries and what you want to be able to do. The plan follows from there, and after that it's technique, progression and the accountability that makes the difference between six weeks and six months. Members travel to our Salamander Bay gym from across the peninsula, plenty of them getting back to structured training after years away from it. Where the goal involves weight loss or muscle gain, we'll pair coaching with one of our nutrition plans. Call 0438 696 925 to book a consultation.

What One-On-One Coaching Covers

Every program is different, but most coaching clients want the same four things sorted.

  1. 01

Clear goals with a realistic timeline. We'll agree what success looks like at the start, so progress becomes something you can measure rather than guess at.

  2. 02

Technique you can trust. Getting movement patterns right early means you train harder later without picking up the niggles that send people home.

  3. 03

A plan that survives a busy week. Programs are written around the days you can actually train, not an ideal seven-day schedule.

  4. 04

Accountability between sessions. We check in on how training went, adjust where needed and keep things moving when motivation dips.

Common questions

FAQs

It depends on experience and goals, though most people work with a trainer once or twice a week and train on their own in between. The coached sessions set the technique and the plan; the solo sessions build the volume.

No, and beginners often get the most from it because they're learning movement patterns from scratch rather than unlearning bad ones. A coach adjusts load and complexity to whatever starting point someone brings.

It usually starts with questions about training history, injuries, schedule and goals, followed by a look at how someone moves. That information shapes the first program rather than a standard template.
